D Coy Duck`s in Lawton

Great food, great drinks, great service. We drove around for about an hour looking for a place to dine out, and ended up here after passing it up the first time. We thought it would be crowded, but we ended up having half of the restaurant to ourselves, right beside the fireplace. We will definitely come here again.

Nice little restaurant and bar. Drinks were really good, food was tasty and priced right. Staff was friendly. Was a great find in this little town. Would definitely recommend it if you're in the area.

Excellent service, good tasting food and relaxed atmosphere. Angry Orchard on tap is a nice surprise. Warm sourdough rolls sealed the deal with butter. Absolutely would patronize this establishment again. Happy Holidays!!

Customer service alway good! Evan if u have a couple animals be kids. Owner down to earth and most staff as well🙏

My advice, get food off the daily specials, we ordered fish and was ok at best. My kids ordered off the board and the food was good.

Really good food and excellent atmosphere

I liked this place. The process are reasonable and the staff was very friendly. We had a large group in that wasnt fun to take care of as we all mainly just had drinks. They were very willing to help us out and very patient when it came time to deliver and figure out 25 different checks. Great service and friendly people. They never seemed to complain that we were there. Loved it and appreciated their kindness. Would recommend if in the area looking for a drink or a bite to eat.

Had the hot Turkey stack! Devine. And the staff is top notch!

Decent service, food was average. Best part of the meal was the pretzel bite appetizers.

If you order something for takeout, expect to no get what you ordered

Horrible service and the food has really gone down hill. The roof was even dripping on my daughter during dinner.

They have Guinness stout on draft!! 🙂🙂 The service was great and quick. Our server was very attentive and friendly. I had the baby back ribs and theyvare excellent. Also, the homemade bread is wonderful! Plus, they have Keno. I highly recommend D Coy Duck's.

Great food and service. The staff do an amazing job!

This small town bar and restaurant offered the expected fare. The food was tasty. Nacho plate was generous and flavorful, my kids, ( 3 picky eaters) were very happy with the child menu. The prices were quite reasonable but the outstanding service was something to come back for. Our server was attentive, cheerful and professional. She made the experience all the more enjoyable. I wish I could recall her name.

Went Saturday night 6/29/19, had the spinach artichoke chicken, probably the best I've ever had. Wait staff was very courteous. The bartender Erin was the bomb..Will deffinatley be going back..

My daughter brought me here for a Mother's day dinner. The place was pretty packed when we first got there but, it seemed like the staff was constantly running for drinks and food and keeping up with everyone there. My only disappointment was the fact that I was told that I couldn't get the prime rib because they were stopping that for an hour (which I don't understand). I ordered a strip steak and shrimp dinner and it was absolutely fantastic! This was the best meal that I have had in a very long time. Our food was ordered and delivered to our table in a remarkably efficient amount of time for as busy as they were. Hats off to the cooks and the staff for their excellence in service. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that enjoys a truly quality meal with reasonable prices.

Stopped for lunch and ordered the Lawton burger and the duck tenders. The burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were hot and plentiful. The coleslaw was excellent and the service was great👍 We will return

Terrible buffet on sunday so not worth the 50 dollars for crab. Takes forever to get seconds and a very small amount at that ... Service wasn't bad but i totally understand why its so dead on crab night

D Coy Duck's is such a cozy place to have dinner. Warm surroundings and a fireplace on a cold winter evening. The food is always good. Service is good too. Their homemade cobblers are awesome! We'll be back!

Holy moly, the food here was good. They served lots of things I never even heard of before. I had duck tenders and peppercrab soup, and they blew my socks off. And the bread they serve with the meal was also good. They knew what they were thinking when they named this place: food you've never heard of that's delicious.

Good food, nice place, quieter the neighboring restaurants

My parents brought me here for dinner as a surprise during my visit back home. The food wasn’t bad, it’s the Midwest food I fondly remember having made at home growing up ... it just wasn’t anything special. Flavors didn’t pop, and there wasn’t any creativity in preparing the dish. I ordered the ribeye steak and, while I’m aware that particular cut contains additional fat compared to others ... it was beyond acceptable. About 40% of the steak was inedible because of the sheer amount of fat and gristle. It’s obvious they serve low quality cuts. Steak was at least cooked properly, medium rare slightly on the rare side. Lightly seasoned so I could taste the natural flavors of the meat. Staff were very friendly and prompt. Server was patient with us, although someone forgot to include the ice cream that comes with the cookie dessert I ordered to go.

Best food in the little town of Lawton and a top 6 in Van Buren County. Just my oppinion .

Food was good but not worth the high price in comparison to other like restaurant.

From dirty silverware, a chipped water glass to mediocre dinners. The waitstaff was really nice and attentive.

The Spinach and Artichoke Chicken was burnt, had to send back. The perch had some bones in it. Our other 2 entrees were ok. By the time a fresh order of Spinach/Artichoke chicken came to the table we had finished our meal. Would have been nice if we were comped the chicken dinner as we ended up taking it home. Our waitress, Marcia, was great but the 1st time experience was not. Won't be back. wasn't worth the 45 min drive each way. Too bad the owner didn't address the problem.

The food was amazing and timely. The staff was friendly and professional and delivered the food promptly so it was warm and delicious. It was very well kept/clean. I will definitely go there again and recommend it to others.

The mushroom Swiss burger is a 5 star burger. The cheif there is awesome

This was my first time visiting D Coy Duck's. I was part of a birthday celebration involving a party of 16. Now, whenever you have a party that large there is always the chance things go amiss. Happy to report that our service and food was impeccable. Our server was always attentive and the serving of everyone's order timed to perfection. That can't be an easy thing to do! Kudos to D Coy Duck's for a great birthday celebration and dining experience!

Good service. Felt safe. Food overcooked

If there's a more Michigan dining establishment I haven't found it. Classic decor and menu and really good service. Is give the macaroni and cheese balls a pass next time but they had good salads, really great rolls and solid burgers. Plus the free popcorn delighted the kids.

We have been here several times, and, have NEVER been disappointed!! The Sweet Pepper Crab soup is the best we have had!
